Renovation of the 19th Century Oddfellows Hall into modern office space for startup companies.

New Republic was hired to preserve and convert 19th century Oddfellows Hall into a vibrant, modern, speculative office space attractive to startups and entrepreneurs. The design team highlighted the original 1860’s molding and woodwork by removing failing plaster. The team also lofted the fourth floor into the attic and inserted a steel structure to create a double height loft space. This created space for additional offices and a recreation lounge for the Client.
