Crossings at Beckett
A design proposal for a high-end multi-family community in West Chester, Ohio.
The proposed Crossings at Beckett project would occupy a site formerly intended for a retail development. In a weak retail environment, our Client elected to repurpose the site. New Republic designed a 194 unit, fully amenitized multi-family development to meet the Client’s development goals. Crossings at Beckett was designed to take advantage of surrounding retail with a grocery-anchored center, creating a pedestrian-focused community. Low-rise, three-story walk-up buildings created the most cost-effective means of developing the site. A flat roof design functions to transition the community from the adjacent commercial district to the surrounding single-family neighborhoods. The community is highly-amentized with a slope roofed community center, tennis courts and a pool.
